Capacity-Building Training Graduation Held for Ward and Village-Tract Administrators in Pinlaung Township

A graduation ceremony for a capacity-building training course for ward and village-tract administrators was held at 10 a.m. on July 28 at the Pinlaung Township General Administration Department, Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, southern Shan State, Special Region (6).
The ceremony was attended by Pa-O Self-Administered Zone Leading Body Chairman U Khun Phoe Sein, Leading Body member U Sai Hsai Nom, State Hluttaw Representative U Khun Win Naung, Township Administration Committee member U Khun Htun Aye, township-level officials, Myanmar Police Force officials, the Township Administration Committee chairman and members, ward and village-tract administrators, and trainees.
In his opening remarks, Leading Body Chairman U Khun Phoe Sein said village-tract administrators should understand local and public needs and actively cooperate in national development projects, and should carry out their duties diligently.
A trainee then spoke on behalf of a ward administrator who attended the course, sharing their experience and giving a vote of thanks.
The Leading Body Chairman then gave encouraging remarks, urging ward and village-tract administrators to apply what they learned for the good of their communities, to work with relevant departments toward eliminating drugs, developing the region and securing a good future for young people, and to plant coffee suited to their local area as an alternative to poppy cultivation.
Officials then presented certificates to trainees who successfully completed the course and gifts of appreciation to the trainers.
