Robe Offering and Honors for University Entrance Exam Achievers Held at Rural Youth Development School in Pinlon

A robe-offering and Dhamma-listening ceremony, along with an honors ceremony for students who passed the 2025-2026 university entrance exam, was held today, July 19, 2026, at the Rural Youth Development School founded by the Pa-O Literature and Culture Association in Pinlon, Loilin Township, southern Shan State.
At the ceremony, invited monks were offered robes by teachers and students, who then listened to Buddhist scripture readings and offered the midday meal to the monks. Invited guests were then hosted with lunch.
At 1 p.m., an honors ceremony continued for students who excelled in the 2025-2026 university entrance exam.
Of the 22 Grade 12 students who sat the exam, 15 passed, a pass rate of 68.18%, welcome news for the school’s academic achievement.
