Ministers Inspect Roads, Irrigation and Development Projects in Inle Region

Shan State Government ministers — Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Minister U Lin Aung Swe, Electricity, Energy, Industry and Transport Minister U Khun Than Htoo, Intha Ethnic Affairs Minister Daw Tin Tin Yi and the group of ethnic affairs ministers — inspected transportation, agriculture, irrigation and rural development projects in the Inle region.
At 7:30 a.m., they visited and inspected the Intein diversion weir project, and at 10:30 a.m. they arrived at Phaungdawoo Pagoda to inspect construction and silt-dredging operations.
At noon, they visited the Lwe Tan silt-retention dam to inspect dredging operations, work to improve water flow, and regional development projects.
During the trip, the ministers coordinated with officials on what is needed to complete the projects on time, promote regional development and benefit local residents.
