PNO Honors Students Who Excelled in the 2025-2026 Academic Year

As a way of promoting education in Kalaw Township, Kalaw District, Special Region (6), southern Shan State, the Pa-O National Organization (PNO) today honored Pa-O youth students in Aungban town who excelled with distinctions in the 2025-2026 academic year.
The award ceremony was held on August 6 at the meeting hall of the Kalaw Township Pa-O Literature and Culture Office in Aungban, and was attended by officials, the outstanding students, and their parents.
At the event, attendees introduced themselves to one another; Kalaw Township PNO Chairman Hpa Khun Htun Tin gave opening remarks, and Vice Chairman Hpa Hsayahti explained the purpose of the award ceremony.
Kalaw Township Pa-O Literature and Culture Association Chairman Hpa Khun Thuhtaw then gave words of encouragement to the outstanding students, and officials presented awards.
U Khun Phyo Aung then delivered a vote of thanks on behalf of the outstanding students’ parents.
This award ceremony marks the first time Kalaw Township PNO has honored Pa-O youth students in Aungban town who achieved distinctions in one to five subjects in the 2025-2026 academic year, recognizing 18 students in total.
