State Hluttaw Representatives Conduct Field Survey of Development Needs in Taunggyi Township Villages

Southern Shan State’s Taunggyi Township State Hluttaw Representative No. 1 Khun Kyi, Representative No. 2 Khun Hsaung Shwe, along with departmental officials and ward/village administrators, visited villages in Myaydaw Nantaung village tract, Taunggyi Township, on July 15, to conduct a field survey of local development needs.
During the field survey, local residents raised and discussed their genuine needs, including access to drinking water, upgrading of produce roads to transport local agricultural products, teaching needs at schools, adequacy of teaching staff, and the need for school buildings and staff housing.
The State Hluttaw representatives systematically recorded the information raised, and the survey findings will be submitted to the relevant Hluttaw to continue efforts toward carrying out local development projects.
The survey covered the villages of Nantaung Thit, Lonekay, Mainetanaung, Kongyaung, Bankwe, Kyaungtaw, Naungkyin, Htitpaye, Maukhsan, Kaungmuhsone and Naungnya, within Myaydaw Nantaung village tract.
